Zachary Runningwolf's mayoral campaign stands in solidarity 110% with the October 21st student action to reclaim the BBA Solutions student store and 5th floor of Eschleman as spaces for queer & trans students and students of color, and with the goals/actions of QARC and Bridges as a whole.
Challenging the university's continuing legacy of placing profit over students is a major part of this campaign's platform, and as mayor Runningwolf would use the power and resources of the city government to support struggles such as these.
The UC's confinement of the Bridges Multicultural Resource Center to a basement infested with rats and rat traps is a particularly egregious example of UC corruption, and this mayoral candidate condemns it in the strongest of possible terms.
